Rich City Rides will be hosting the 3rd Annual #Bike4Justice Ride starting at Richmond BART going down Macdonald Ave. They will be following some of the same route that was permitted for 5,000 women of the Ku Klux Klan to march through Richmond almost a hundred years ago. Ride will roll through Berkeley with a final stop being Lake Merritt in Oakland.

Participants are encouraged to dress for up in their 1980s-themed attire, although that is not required to participate. Skate party will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines, such as mask-wearing at all times, and aims to promote health, wellness and joy. Sunday’s event will feature a catered meal including fried red snapper fish, kale greens, Louisiana-style dirty rice and a dinner roll, raffled gift cards as well as a roundtrip airline ticket to Las Vegas. Each attendee will also receive Mardi Gras beads.

On Saturday March 13th, 2021 @ SP Ave opposite Grocery Outlet @ Baxter Creek, SOS Richmond will hold a simple memorial service for LaHoma and Joe. Join to give love, then to cleanup the nearby Greenway and help encampment residents squeezed onto BART track-side from City & Caltrans land.
Volunteer work day coming up! In conjunction with our friends at Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay - BTCEB.org. Work day at Dirt World on Sunday March 14, 2021 from 9AM-1PM to get the park cleaned up and smoothed out. We'll be shoveling, raking, de-rocking, weeding and picking up trash. Please come out.
