The 3rd instillation of the Art Walk and we would like to welcome Tiffany Conway to the CoBiz Windows!

Tiffany’s visual paintings are the break of generational curses and the door to beautiful beginnings. Tiffany overcame stereotypes and an absent mother due to addiction and began speaking life to herself first. Raised in the Bay Area, California by her father and stepmother, Tiffany grew her creativity from life experiences.

Rich City Rides Self-Care Sundays are back. Join in at 1605 Ohio Avenue, Richmond, CA around 10:00 am this Sunday for spot repairs and great conversation. Sunday Rides are family friendly, masked and at an easygoing pace. Self-Care Sunday is appropriate for all ages and abilities. For Covid safety, there are no stops on this ride. Group rolls out at 11am and returns to Unity Park by 12:30pm.

BIKE4JUSTICE - Juneteenth

Rich City Rides will be hosting the 3rd Annual #Bike4Justice Ride starting at Richmond BART going down Macdonald Ave. They will be following some of the same route that was permitted for 5,000 women of the Ku Klux Klan to march through Richmond almost a hundred years ago. Ride will roll through Berkeley with a final stop being Lake Merritt in Oakland.

All riders are welcomed in the spirit of freedom and justice for all!

Bay Trail Confidential - Richmond San Rafael Bridge

An Evening to Benefit the Richmond Museum of History & Culture

Fun things that will take place at the event:

  • Make a custom drink for the Richmond History Trivia Event. All proceeds from that drink go to the museum during the event.

1980s roller-skate party

Soulful Softball Sunday is inviting the community to a 1980s roller-skate party. Participants are encouraged to dress for up in their 1980s-themed attire, although that is not required to participate. Skate party will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines, such as mask-wearing at all times, and aims to promote health, wellness and joy. Sunday’s event will feature a catered meal including fried red snapper fish, kale greens, Louisiana-style dirty rice and a dinner roll, raffled gift cards as well as a roundtrip airline ticket to Las Vegas. Each attendee will also receive Mardi Gras beads.

“Emmett’s Ice Cream Social”

Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 2 PM at 265 15th St., Richmond.

Ice cream per donation for all who attend. Emmet will be making ice cream via a 1924 John Deere three horsepower hit-and-miss engine that powers an old fashioned hand-cranked ice cream maker that can make 10 gallons every 20 minutes. For Sunday’s social, he plans to serve up his ice cream until it runs out.
